Operation Rejuvenation Project Summary
Operation Rejuvenation was a project by the Mississippi Master Gardeners to help in the replanting of the Gulf Coast after devastating damage by hurricanes Katrina and Rita in 2005. Included in the section are some of the key elements and pictures during the 2006-08 period.

Thanks so much to all who came to the coast, all the local Master Gardeners who organized and worked on the projects, and to all of the people who made donations to Operation Rejuvenation that allowed us to purchase the materials it took to get plants in the ground. Take a moment to look at the list of contributors below that enabled us to complete this project.

In addition to the donations to Operation Rejuvenation, a number of contributors sent checks made out to Mississippi Extension Service. These funds are being used to purchase horticulture resource books for the Extension Offices affected by the hurricanes. At the end of August, 2006, checks totaling $600 have been put in this account. The list of donors to this account are shown below.
